November Blog Hop Resized

It’s time for another Di’s Country INKers Blog Hop!  Wasn’t Diana’s project cute?!  This month we are focusing on anything with an Autumn or Thankful theme.  My project combines a little of both!

beelinestamping.com-11-01-14Do you recognize the background I used on this card?  Didn’t think so…  Its actually the ‘Thanks’ stamp from Seasonally Scattered.  I inked it with Hello Honey, then took my Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze and Old Olive markers and “Thumped” them on top of the Hello Honey before stamping.  Cool, eh?

The Pumpkins  were inked in Tangelo Twist, then I used a dauber loaded with Cajun Craze around the edges to give it that shadowed look.  With the old-style ink pads, we used to be able to do a technique called Rock ‘n Roll, but the new pads are too juicy to do that any more.  The dauber is a pretty close substitute tho.

My greeting  is from the Good Greetings set that we could get for free in October with a $150 order.  Makes me sad that its not around any longer cuz it was Really Good!

Ok my darlings – I’m sending you off to Kathya to see what fun stuff she has for you.  As always, thanks so much for hopping with us, and we’ll see you again in December!
