Endless Wishes is one of the new Photopolymer stamp sets that are being offered by Stampin’ Up! (#133455) After getting to play with it a bit, I can honestly say this one is going to get lots of use this Holiday season. I love the simple lines in this set!!
This is one of the first cards I made with it. I started with a base of Soft Sky cardstock (#131203) Stamped the ‘merry’ in Versamark and heat embossed with Silver embossing powder. Then stamped the ‘& bright’ with Versamark and heat embossed with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder. Stamped the large snowflake in Silver Metallic Encore ink (#132142) and the medium snowflakes in Versamark – sprinkled Iridescent Ice embossing powder over all and heat embossed. The small snowflakes were stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink. For a finishing touch, I added several Rhinestones. So quick and easy – even with all the steps, this card was finished in under 10 minutes! Sure wish it wasn’t so darned hard to photograph sparkle as this card really had a lot of personality…

Joyful Christmas (#131805) was one of the first sets from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog that I just HAD to have. I got a chance to play with it this week and here’s the first card I came up with. The simple color combination of Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White sets the stage for the beautiful poinsettia which was stamped twice in Versamark ink on White Vellum Cardstock (#101856) I made a custom mix of White embossing powder (#109132) and Silver Stampin’ Glitter (#132205) and heat embossed the poinsettia. I then cut out one full flower, and one with the smaller flower petals and layered them over two panels of Whisper White cardstock – the top one was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder (#117335). The bottom panel was stamped with the greeting from Joyful Christmas (#131805) and stamped in Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Ink (#126857) with a snowflake from the Endless Wishes Photopolymer set (#133455). A piece of Cherry Cobbler seam binding (#120992) was used to conceal the seams in the panels. The last touch was to add some Champagne Glass Glitter (#120997) to the center of the flower.
Sure wish the camera could capture how pretty the silver glitter on the poinsettia actually is. It kind of looks like dark speckles in the photos, but believe me when I tell you it is stunning in real life! Oh, and did I mention how much I love the soft shimmer of the Illuminate ink on almost any color cardstock?!
Alrighty then – now that I’ve had some quality play time in my studio, I get to go figure out what’s clogging my vacuum cleaner – I really need to deglitterfy (yes, that is a word…) the desk and floor!

Over the last couple of months, I’ve been working with the Ornament Keepsakes Stamp Set (#128051) along with the coordinating Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies (#127816) and creating some really beautiful things with them! In fact, my friend Jacque (Hi Jax!) was just over yesterday and we were designing one of her Christmas cards with the sets. It’s the excitement in the hive as I am finally able to reveal my beautiful new blog! Over the last few weeks, I’ve been working with Cristena Bagne of GC Blog Designs to give Beeline Stamping a complete make-over. Did she do a fabulous job or what?! Thank you SO much, Cris – I just love everything about it!!
So – December 1st already – how are your Christmas cards coming along? Here’s one we did in a recent Stamp-a-Stack class:
The greeting, from ‘Winter Memories’ was stamped on the Gumball Green cardstock base with Raspberry Ripple, then I ran the card front through my Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. Layers were then added from the Snow Festival DSP pack along with Raspberry Ripple cardstock. Next I used the Merry Minis punches, 1″ Square punch and Postage Stamp punch to create the trio of images and completed the design with a bow made from Raspberry Ripple Stitched Satin Ribbon. Have you had a chance to play with the Stitched Satin Ribbon yet? It’s a dream to tie and makes the cutest little bows!
