Welcome to this month’s blog hop! Today we are featuring projects for Mother’s Day.
When I think of Mother’s Day, images of sunshine and flowers generally come to mind for me. While we sometimes get a nice sunny day, quite often its anything but nice out, and this year spring has been delayed so long that I’m not sure how many flowers we’ll have by the time Mother’s Day comes along. If I can’t have real flowers blooming in my garden, at least I can make sure I’m crafting with them, and I certainly do that. Florals are by far my favorite type of stamps and paper to work with. My card today starts out with lots of elements from the Share What You Love product suite that everyone can order starting today!
How It’s Made:
I started with a Crumb Cake card base and ran a piece of Mossy Meadow through the Big Shot with the Lovely Floral Dynamic Textureed Impressions Embossing folder. A floral panel from the Share What You Love specialty designer series paper pack was added over that along with a few strips of DSP from the same pack. The Apron, tools and greeting are all from the Apron of Love bundle. The apron assembly was layered over a 2 1/4″ circle of Rich Razzleberry cardstock and a Pearlized Doily and accented with a bow made from the Rich Razzleberry 1/4″ velvet ribbon.
Share What You Love Early Release
Pearls are the traditional gift for a 30th Anniversary. This year is Stampin’ Up’s 30th year in business, but we are the recipients of the pearls. the Share What you Love suite of products is loaded with pearls and pearlized accents. Can you see the pearl sheen on my card? The doily is pearlized, and there are lovely Artisan Pearls as part of this suite as well. Did you know that customers can order these products today before the catalog goes live? There are three different bundles to choose from, and each bundle contains free product! Head over to my online store to see the new releases!
Well, I could go on and on, but I bet you’re ready to see what Kathya has created for you. Thanks so much for stopping by today. Take some time to create this week – it’s a great mental vacation!
P.S. The green cardstock I used on my card is Mossy Meadow. It used to be an In-Color but will be back as part of the Neutrals collection in June!

So much to love about this card, Barb! The colors, the detailed embellishments, and those cooking utensils that look like you could really use them. One thing I will definitely remember to try is stamping directly onto DSP. I never think to do that, but how much cuter that apron looks that way. Like you stitched it up out of cloth. 🙂
I’ve already pinned it to my SU Pinterest board!
Love the purple details on your card and the apron, which I almost used too! Your blog changes are really nice too!!
Love the purple products on your card as well as the velvet ribbon and apron – I almost used this darling apron too lol. And your blog design is great!!
So beautiful and I love that apron is sticking around. Hugs, Di
I LOVE your card Barb!! So sweet. That velvet ribbon is gorgeous!
