Red, White, and Blue Blog Hop

July 2016 Blog Hop Button Resized

It’s the first of the month and that means a Di’s Country INKers blog hop.  This month we are featuring the color combo of (naturally) Red, White, and Blue!  A big thank you to Di for sending you over for a visit.  I loved the project she had to show today – how about you?

When I first saw the Jar of Love stamp set and matching framelits, I knew it was going to jump into my shopping cart.  It has all sorts of things to fill the jars with; flowers, lightening bugs, hearts, greenery and even a goldfish!  So cute!  For my card, I went with the flowers in, of course, red, white, and blue.beelinestamping.com 7-1-16a

I started with a Real Red card base and gave it a layer of DSP from the Floral Boutique pack.  A Whisper White tag made with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch was the foundation of the focal piece.  The jar was stamped in Night of Navy classic ink and cut out with a framelit.  I added several flowers that were stamped in Real Red, and Night of Navy and cut them out with the matching framelits.  The sentiment was stamped with Night of Navy and accented with a Real Red heart then clear embossed over it to give it a bit of shine and dimension.  The card was finished with one of the new Delicate White Doilies and a bit of Washi Tape from the Floral Boutique set. A few rhinestones and a Night of Navy bow were added as bling.

Off you go to see what Kathya has in store for you.  I hope you have a very happy and safe 4th of July holiday.  And if you catch some lightening bugs, better stamp some jars to put them in!

New Catalog, New Products!

June 2016 Blog Hop Resized

It’s finally here!  It’s June 1st and the brand-new 2016-2017 Annual Catalog goes live today!    You may have arrived from Mary’s blog.  Her projects are always so inspiring!  If you’re just joining us, be sure to hit all the stops on the hop.  This month, we’ve chosen to show you projects made with new products that you can now order.

My niece has just graduated from college, and I needed a special card to mark the occasion.  I sifted through my box of pre-order products and realized that I hadn’t yet played with the Confetti Celebration stamp set nor had I used any of the DSP sheets from Pop of Pink.  Put them together and you come up with a rather nifty Graduation card!  Take a peek… beelinestamping.com 6-1-16b

I started with a base of Basic Black layered with Whisper White Thick cardstock and topped with the Melon Mambo polka dot pattern from Pop of Pink DSP.  I used the brand-new Sprinkles punch to make confetti to fill my shaker card with.  And speaking of shaker cards, we have another new product to make them with – Foam Adhesive Strips! A bit of Melon Mambo thick baker’s twine and Pop of Pink washi tape helped embellish my card.

beelinestamping.com 6-1-16aI decorated the inside of the card too, only I forgot to take a photo before I’d written a note in it.  That part’s a bit personal, but I can show you the decorative part that was done with the Balloon Bouquet punch and more of the DSP and cardstock.  Cute, eh?

Ok then, time to send you off to see what Kathya has worked with.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.   If you get off track on today’s hop, the stops are listed below.
