Thanks for following along with our December blog hop! What did you think of Di’s project? She always shows the cutest stuff!
From the moment I saw the Cheerful Christmas stamp set and the Filigree Frame embossing folder at Convention, I was in love! I’ve done several cards with this set, but this one is by far my favorite. The color combination of Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow and Very Vanilla just screams Christmas to me.
I started with a standard card base of Cherry Cobbler and layered it with a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock that was embossed with the Filigree Frame folder. I stamped the Nordic motif from Cheerful Christmas in Mossy Meadow on a 2 5/8″ square of Very Vanilla and layered it on a 2 3/4″ square of Cherry Cobbler cardstock. I colored in the little hearts and berries in the motif with my Cherry Cobbler marker. I used two of the Petite Petals punched flowers and one flower punched with the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack to form the floral accent in the center of the motif. I added some bling with Cherry Cobbler seam binding and Rhinestones that were colored with the darkest of the Old Olive Blendabilities markers.
Speaking of Blendabilities – don’t forget that today only, while supplies last, all 12 colors of the Blendabilities markers are on sale as a bundle for 30% off! That is an amazing deal! If you were to buy each color individually, you’d be spending $143.40, but today you can get bundle #140388 for just $100. Get your order in a quickly as you can, because I can guarantee you that this deal will sell out fast!
Update as of 9:00 am – The Blendabilities bundle has sold out already – sorry! But there are plenty of other deals to be had!
