12370906_1076423485742037_8593387562599901650_oWelcome to the Creative Circle Valentine’s Day blog hop!  Did you see what Sandy had to show you – great stuff, eh?

I love making girly girl cards, and the Bloomin’ Love stamp set with matching Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits dies let me frill out to my heart’s content, and they are available as a discounted bundle!  Here’s one of the cards we made in a recent class:Beelinestamping.com 2-5-16A

The Crumb Cake base was layered with a sheet from the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack. A Whisper White heart die cut was inlaid into the negative space of the top Blushing Bride layer.  The greeting was stamped in Blushing Bride classic ink, punched out with the 2″ circle punch, and popped up with dimensionals.  The flowers were cut with the thinlit set out of Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper and accented with pearls.  The final accents at the bottom are a strip of the Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper and a ribbon/bow of Whisper White seam binding.  Hearts and florals work together so well to make a lovely Valentine!

Wouldn’t this make a great card to add to the Mailbox from last month’s hop?  Here’s the one I made:

Be My Valentine Blog Hop

Feb 2016 Blog Hop Button ResizedWelcome to our February issue of Di’s Country INKers blog hop!  Did you enjoy what Diana had to show you?

It’s Sale-a-Bration time and I’ve been playing with some of my new FREE stamps!  As soon as I saw the heart-shaped vapor trail in the Sky is the Limit stamp set, I knew what the first card I made with it would be – a Valentine!  Take a look:

Beelinestamping.com 2-1-16AI started with a base of Basic Grey and layered it with Real Red and a Basic Grey striped panel from the Neutrals DSP stack.  On the 5″ x 3″ main panel, I stamped the airplane and greeting in Basic Grey, and the vapor trail was stamped in Smoky Slate.  I used a blender pen and Real Red classic ink to color in the body of the airplane.  The ‘Valentine’ stamp is from a retired set called Something to Celebrate.  I stamped it in Real Red on a banner of Whisper White, and layered that over a slightly larger Real Red banner.  I shaped it with my bone folder and wrapped a little silver cording around the left edge.  I like how it looks as if it’s fluttering in the wind!  The final touch was to add a little Wink of Stella glimmer to the heart in the vapor trail.  Here’s a closer look at the pretty shimmer:

beelinestamping.com 2-1-16BAs if there aren’t already some wonderful items in the Sale-a-Bration catalog that you can get for free, on February 15th there will be a few new items added!  With every $50 in product ordered (before tax/shipping) you get to choose one award – doesn’t get much better than free!

Ok, now off you go to see what Kathya has in store for you.  Something delightful, I’m certain!!  Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I hope you enjoy the rest of the hop.
