Blended Bloom Anniversary and Catalog Release

beelinestamping.com-blended bloom anniversaryI want to start today’s post by wishing Bob and Cheryl, my dear Brother and Sister-In-Law  a very Happy Anniversary!  We love you both, and hope you celebrate many, many more anniversaries!

Today is the start of a brand new stamping year at Stampin’ Up!  The 2014-2015 Annual Catalog goes live in just about an hour from now, and this is one release you won’t want to miss!  They have done a wonderful job with this year’s layout, and one of my most favorite features is the inclusion of a greetings and alphabet set index complete with pictures!  They’ve also brought back the accessory index – such useful tools for finding just what you’re looking for amongst all the new stamps and products…

Being a demonstrator means being able to pre-order selected products from the catalog before it goes live.  A couple of the first things I played with are the Blended Bloom stamp and the Blendabilities markers, along with the new (gorgeous!) In-Colors.  Today’s card starts with a base of Hello Honey with a layer of Mossy Meadow that’s been stamped with Blended Bloom in Black Memento Ink.  A piece of the 3/8″ Stitched Satin ribbon was attached then wrapped with a bit of Metallic Baker’s twine.  The piece is completed with a Blended Bloom flower that’s been colored with the Blendabilities markers in shades of Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie. Another cool thing the ‘Blendas’ do is color your Rhinestones and Pearls!  Check it out…beelinestamping.com-blended bloom anniversary 1

We’ve been told that the Blendabilities markers are not quite ready to release with today’s Catalog launch, but are coming sometime in late June or early July.  As a demonstrator, however, you can get your hands on them right away, and by taking advantage of the $50 sign-up special, these markers can be part of your starter kit.  Interested?  Get in touch with me and let’s talk about it…

If you are in need of a copy of the Catalog for your very own, I’ll be happy to send you one – no charge for the catalog, you just need to cover the cost of the postage, but I’ll refund that back to you on your first order of $50 or more…

I’m off to check my wish list – have a fun and productive Monday!

Di’s Country INKers June Blog Hop

June Blog Hop-001

Welcome to this month’s Di’s Country INKers blog hop!  You’ve probably hopped on over from the fabulous Diana Gibbs.  Wasn’t her project fun?!

Our theme this month is ‘Anything That’s New’ from the about-to-be-released 2014-2015 Stampin’ Up!  Annual Catalog. One of the perks of being a demonstrator is that we get to start playing with brand spankin’ new product a month before the catalog releases, and today I’ve chosen to show you the new Sea Street stamp set and coordinating Maritime Designer Series Paper – take a look!

beelinestamping.com-sea street lobstersI am absolutely in love with the classic Real Red, Whisper White and Night of Navy with a little Coastal Cabana color scheme in this DSP pack!  Both the DSP and the Sea Street stamp set can be used in masculine nautical-themed projects as well as for whimsical kids cards with the cute star fish, and a smiling octopus.

I first saw this stamp set at the Catalog Premier Party in April.(Another perk of being a demonstrator..)  I was sitting next to my new stampin’ friend, Trenna.  Of course, we were ooh-ing and aah-ing over all the new stuff we were being shown.  When this set appeared, I said, “Oh my gosh, look at those cute crabs!!”  Trenna leaned over and whispered, “Um, Barb, those are lobsters…”  Well, this gave us both a fit of the giggles and just like laughing in church, made it all the funnier.  So naturally, the first card I made with this set HAD to have some of the crabs, I mean lobsters on it!  Ha..

The Sea Street stamp set and Maritime DSP will be available for you to order tomorrow at noon (mountain time) when the catalog goes live!  If you don’t already have your copy, give me a holler.  The catalog is free, you just need to cover the postage, but if you place an order of $50 or more, I’ll refund you the postage!

Thanks for spending a little time with me today!  Now off you go to see what Kathya has in store for you!  If you get lost at any time, the links to all of the participants are below.

Springtime and Mother’s Day Blog Hop

May Blog Hop 2-001Welcome to Di’s Country INKers Springtime and Mother’s Day blog hop. Aren’t Diana’s cards sweet?

Something that always makes me stop to take a picture is a pretty trellis or gate with flowers climbing on it.  I’ve been seeing fences made with the Hardwood background stamp from our Occasions mini catalog, and I was inspired to make a gate of my own.  Of course, since it’s a Mother’s Day card, it needed to have a heart carved into it!

I began by stamping the Hardwood onto Crumb Cake cardstock, then I  cut the ‘boards’ into beelinestamping.com-hardwood gate 1individual pieces with my Stampin’ Trimmer.  I sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink.  I used the Circles and Hearts Framelits to create the curve and the heart in my gate.  The clouds were done with the Word Bubbles Framelits.  The large flowers are from the Petite Petals/Punch bundle, and the small flowers were done with the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack (this one’s on the retiring list – get yours before it goes away for good!) The vines were done with the leaf from the Bird Builder punch.  All the flowers were accented with Pearl Basic Jewels.  Don’t you just love those little bitty pearls?  They’re so tiny and delicate – wish I could get a whole sheet of just those!  Here’s a close-up of the greeting and the flowers with those pearls – so cute!!
