It’s almost Valentine’s Day, and this month we’ve chosen to show off some of the projects we’ve been creating for our loved ones. I am over the moon about the Painted with Love Specialty DSP pack, and wanted to make a card that showed off as much of this beautiful paper as I could. The pack is full of designs that have an abstract brush stroke look with gold foil accents. It’s bold, flashy and sweet all at the same time – I just love it!!
My project begins with a tent-fold card base made from Whisper White Thick card stock which is layered with a 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Powder Pink card stock. I used the Sweet & Sassy Framelits to cut a heart from the Powder Pink layer, and then backed it with a bit of the bold brush stroke patterned DSP. The two smaller hearts were also cut from the Sweet & Sassy set, one from Gold Glimmer Paper, and one from another Painted With Love paper. The smallest heart was heat embossed in gold with the tiny leaf pattern from Heart Happiness. The “love” was die cut from Gold Foil paper using the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. The striped pattern at the bottom is also from Painted With Love. A few sequins from my stash were used as accents.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project – all the products I used are listed below and can be found in my online store by clicking on the images. It’s time to send you off to see what Kathya has to show you. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Love this DSP, the design of it is perfect! Your card highlights the paper so well. Another fun blog hop. Have a great month!
Hi Barb,
Your card is beautiful. Isn’t that DSP so versatile? Hugs, Di
Barb, this card is BEAUTIFUL. I love the heart cutout with that awesome paper shining through. You also reminded me that I, too, have the Love thinlit, as I had forgotten it was in the Sunshine Wishes set. Be assured I will use it on my cards this year!
Sooo pretty! And looks like we both used the same product again (framelits) – we must have long distance telepathy!! Thanks for continuing to coordinate our blog hops!
