The 2015 Retired List has posted – you can see it here
Retiring stamp sets will continue to be produced through May 26, but all other items are available only while supplies last. I just checked and already most of the retiring 2013-2015 In-Color products are sold out. I’ve also heard that the Hearts Collection Framelits are sold out as well. Don’t wait – get your favorites items while you still can…
Due to heavy access today, the online ordering system is running pretty slowly. If you are having trouble placing your order in my online store, call me and I’ll get it entered for you!

Due to a series of circumstances beyond control including the West Coast Dock Worker’s Strike, the Butterfly Thinlit dies have been unavailable to order for what seems like forever. I know many of you have been patiently (?) waiting to get your hands on them. No one feels worse about this situation than Stampin’ Up! themselves. If you can hang in there just a little while longer, your patience will be handsomely rewarded! Friday evening, they posted the following information on their Demonstrator Website:
Like you, we sincerely hoped that the Butterflies Thinlits Dies would arrive in time for Sale-A-Bration, and when that didn’t happen, again like you, we hoped they would be here in time for our Free Shipping promotion. Unfortunately, that is not going to be the case.
Originally they were scheduled to arrive by April 8; we then received notification from our supplier that although the ship had reached the west coast port, the container containing the Thinlits was still on the ship. We have since received verification from a third party that the vessel is still in the port–and though it docked on Friday, April 3, the container with the Thinlits has yet to be pulled.
Because the container has yet to be discharged from the vessel, the soonest the Butterflies Thinlits will arrive in our warehouse is the beginning of the week of April 13; our best estimate for orderability, based on this information, is April 15.
We realize you and your customers may be disappointed you were not able to purchase the Thinlits in time to receive Sale-A-Bration rewards–especially in the discounted bundles. Therefore, from the day Butterflies Thinlits are again available through April 30, we are bringing you two special offers:
- Get the Butterflies Thinlits at a 15 percent discount–just $21.20!
- Buy any of the Butterflies Thinlits Bundles at the already-discounted price and choose one of three FREE Sale-A-Bration items (only available while supplies last)!
Stay tuned – as soon as the Thinlits are available, I’ll let you know!!!

Apr 1, 2015 | 2015, Blog Hops |

I don’t want to say this too loudly, but it looks like spring may have finally arrived in Northern Illinois! I just love springtime. The weather is getting warmer, the days are getting longer, and the air smells fresh and clean. One of my favorite things to do at this time of year is to go on a ‘garden prowl’. I put on my junkie shoes and take a walk around my yard looking for signs that my perennials are coming back to greet me. Today I noticed that my crocus are in bloom and the daffodils and tulips are about five inches tall already. My lilac bush has buds on it, and some of the ground cover is awakening from its winter slumber.
Ok – enough about my garden – time to get on with the blog hop. That is why you’re here, right? Ha! Hope you enjoyed Diana’s cute project and are ready to see more.
Today I spent some time playing with the Flower Patch stamp set and the Flower Fair Framelit dies. I started with a base of Pool Party cardstock, then layered that with a piece cut from a Polka Dot Tag a Bag Gift Bag that I had left over from last weekend’s workshop. A Whisper White banner was stamped in Pool Party with the Something Lacy background stamp. Lots of flowers were stamped in shades of Pool Party, Soft Sky, So Saffron, Hello Honey then die cut to layer onto the banner. A greeting from the Flower Fair set was stamped in Pool Party and die cut with the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits. The card was finished with a bit of a Tea Lace Paper Doily, some 1 1/4″ Burlap ribbon and some rhinestones. The loopy bits of burlap were pulled from a cut edge of the burlap ribbon.
I’d love to stay and chat longer, but you’re probably anxious to be on your way to the next blog. So off you go then – take a look at what Kathya has to show you. Thanks so much for stopping by, and keep your fingers crossed that the weather stays above freezing! Until next time…

Mar 1, 2015 | 2015, Occasions Catalog |
It’s the first of the month, and time for another Di’s Country INKers Blog Hop! That little Easter Bunny will be coming around in just a few short weeks. I’m hoping (praying) that we will have some spring flowers showing to guide him on his way!

I’m far to impatient to wait for my tulips to bloom, so I stamped some flowers of my own. These lovely blooms are from the Indescribable Gift set. I stamped them in Versamark on Whisper White cardstock, then heat embossed in gold. The petals were colored with the Pink Pirouette Blendabilities set and the leaves with Wild Wasabi Blendies.
To create the gold frame, I used the second largest of the Oval Framelits. In order to leave just a little of the gold oval showing, I traced the outside of the same framelit on the back of a Pink Pirouette layer and hand cut it. It was embossed with the Spring Flowers Embossing folder before layering in over the gold oval. I added a little bow with 1/8″ gold ribbon, and finished off the piece with some Gold Stampin’ Glitter on the stamen.
Thanks for visiting today – now off you go to see what Kathya has made for you. Hope you have a great rest of your weekend, and if I don’t talk to you, Happy Easter!!
