There’s still a few weeks left in Stampin’ Up!’s best sale of the year – Sale-a-Bration! The Blossoming Basket Bundle is one of the newly added items you can earn for free with a $100 order (before tax/shipping). Did you know that the embossing folder in this bundle will be carried over into the upcoming Annual Catalog?
I just got this set and can’t wait to play with it. How about you?
I’m using Sale-a-Bration products to celebrate the launch of my brand-spankin’ new blog design! Whaddya think?
I started messing around with the half star burst stamp from the Sale-a-Bration set called Amazing You and realized that by stamping it twice, it kind of looked like a burst of fireworks. Fireworks made me think of red, white, and blue and since I just happened to have red and blue Brusho crystals on my desk, a 4th of July card started happening. I had white embossed starbursts, but the piece just needed more sparkle – enter the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies (Also a Sale-a-Bration award!) and some Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper – the perfect touch!
March begins the final month of Sale-a-Bration – the best promotion of the year! Don’t wait too long to get your favorite choices – things will start selling out, and are only available while supplies last. And, for the first time ever, The Celebrate You Thinlits as well as the Basket Weave Embossing Folder will be carried over into the upcoming 2018/2019 Annual Catalog!
Off you go to see what products Kathya has been playing with. Thanks so much for stopping by!
It’s almost Valentine’s Day, and this month we’ve chosen to show off some of the projects we’ve been creating for our loved ones. I am over the moon about the Painted with Love Specialty DSP pack, and wanted to make a card that showed off as much of this beautiful paper as I could. The pack is full of designs that have an abstract brush stroke look with gold foil accents. It’s bold, flashy and sweet all at the same time – I just love it!!
My project begins with a tent-fold card base made from Whisper White Thick card stock which is layered with a 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Powder Pink card stock. I used the Sweet & Sassy Framelits to cut a heart from the Powder Pink layer, and then backed it with a bit of the bold brush stroke patterned DSP. The two smaller hearts were also cut from the Sweet & Sassy set, one from Gold Glimmer Paper, and one from another Painted With Love paper. The smallest heart was heat embossed in gold with the tiny leaf pattern from Heart Happiness. The “love” was die cut from Gold Foil paper using the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. The striped pattern at the bottom is also from Painted With Love. A few sequins from my stash were used as accents.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project – all the products I used are listed below and can be found in my online store by clicking on the images. It’s time to send you off to see what Kathya has to show you. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
